Karly believes transforming your mental health means addressing total well-being. In therapy with Karly, you’ll learn how to access healing tools within yourself, understand patterns and roots of your distress, and vulnerably process your experiences. Karly believes the therapeutic relationship is a dress rehearsal for life. And in a world that never quiets, therapy with Karly with provide you the opportunity to focus on yourself, to pause, and to honestly self-reflect. Karly’s therapeutic style pulls from attachment and psychodynamic theories, mindfulness, and mind/body therapies. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or overwhelm, she’ll encourage you to move at your own pace, speak as openly and freely as you feel comfortable, and gently work through the issues that have you feeling stuck.
Karly has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages as a mentor, teacher, social worker, and psychotherapist. In the room, Karly is known to let out a genuine laugh at your jokes, remember specific details you share and reference them later, and offer as much or as little back-and-forth dialogue as you’d like in your sessions. She’s always open to feedback and will regularly inquire about your experience in therapy and what she can do to improve it.
