Karly believes transforming your mental health means addressing total well-being. Her insight-oriented therapy will challenge you to access healing tools within yourself, address patterns that lead to your distress, and vulnerably process the lasting impacts of your relational experiences. In a world that never quiets, she’ll provide you the opportunity to focus on yourself, to pause, and to honestly self-reflect. Karly’s therapeutic style pulls from relational, existential, and body-focused therapies, as well as yogic philosophy.
Regardless of your diagnosis or your presenting difficulties, she’ll encourage you to move at your own pace, speak as openly and freely as you feel comfortable, and gently work through the issues that have you feeling stuck. Karly has extensive training and experience working with individuals across the lifespan as a mentor, teacher, social worker, and psychotherapist. In the room, she is known to let out a genuine laugh at your jokes, remember specific details you share to reference later, and offer as much or as little back-and-forth dialogue as you’d like in your sessions. She’s always open to feedback and will regularly inquire about your experience in therapy and what she can do to improve it.
