Kelly’s therapeutic approach is experiential, relational, and strengths-based. She views therapy as a collaborative experience in which the connection and relationship between client and therapist is of utmost importance. This relationship creates the space where growth and change may occur.
Kelly is trained as a trauma informed mental health counselor and art therapist. She supports and guides clients whether they need to talk or want to make art to express their emotions. Adding art making to the therapeutic process can help to foster creativity, which in turn promotes flexible thinking and perspective shifting. Imagine painting, drawing, or sculpting a whole new way of seeing and being in your world!
