Rebecca’s therapeutic approach is trauma informed, strengths based, resiliency centered, and solution focused. She leans into theoretical frameworks associated with cognitive behavioral theory and motivational interviewing, and she utilizes trauma education, mindfulness tools, and somatic based techniques to help reset and strengthen resiliency and to manage triggers and stressors experienced in day to day life. She is effective in managing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving relationships, processing everyday life stressors, or enduring a major life transition. Rebecca values transparency in the therapeutic relationship and is always seeking to honor and support her clients self determination throughout their journey towards well-being.
Rebecca earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2011 and is Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C). Rebecca is a Certified Resiliency Educator through Resources for Resilience.
