Erin Atkinson

In therapy, Erin offers a non-judgmental, safe space where you can unapologetically be yourself. Her expertise is in treating trauma, specifically family and intimate partner abuse, resolving anxiety, depression, and self-doubt that may arise during life transitions, and exploring the role of substances in one’s life. She has a broad range of knowledge and experience, which will allow her to support you through your life’s challenges.

Erin’s approach combines insight-oriented talk therapy with mind-body focused interventions such as mindfulness, meditation, and somatic components. Together, you will practice skills to help you foster resilience and overcome adversity by learning to connect to and express your authentic self.

Erin is a Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical. She obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has advanced training in the treatment of trauma from the Ferentz Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bodywise Foundation (www.bodywisefoundation.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the body’s unique role in healing.  She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).  Erin is also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
