Peejo is an affirming care practitioner whose therapeutic approach combines insight-oriented talk therapy with contemplative practices, including mindfulness and evidence-informed interventions. She emphasizes the wisdom of her clients and cultural humility, while adopting a strength-based, trauma-informed, and deeply relational stance. Experienced in working in higher education, she specializes in working with first and second-generation international, graduate & undergraduate students, and young professionals. Peejo views connection and the therapeutic relationship as central to the healing process. She co-creates a brave, non-judgmental space with her clients, inviting deeper exploration of patterns that are no longer serving them, and supports them in living their most authentic, confident, and easeful selves through all life transitions.
Her sessions incorporate the powerful Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to help clients access their innate confidence, calm, clarity, creativity, care, and courage, embracing all aspects of themselves with self-leadership.
Peejo is a Licensed Master Social Worker (Clinical Behavioral Health), a registered yoga teacher, and a Yoga Nidra facilitator trained in the integrative Amrit method. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, as well as a Master’s in Education and a Master’s in Teaching from Goucher College. She studied at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and is a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach and a board-certified health and wellness coach.
